Ben Kidder, Senior Pastor
Ben Kidder has been at The River since October 2006. He grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Shell Lake, Wisconsin. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University, where he received his B.A. in Christian Ministries and Biblical Literature; he later received his M.S. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton Graduate School. After being a pastor in Iowa for four years, Ben felt called into church planting. He has since made his home in Minong, Wisconsin with his wife Ingrid and their three children – Gabby, Silas and Blaise.
With a love for the Lord, serving people and farming, Ben brings great joy in preaching God’s truth and ministering to those in the community. His down-to-earth personality will make you feel welcome and a loved child of God.
Dominique Clements, Associate Pastor
Dominique is the newest addition to our River family. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada and moving here from Buffalo, NY she brings some new perspectives and energy to our church! Having followed a call since 9 years old, she is a second generation pastor, following in her dad’s footsteps. As a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University she completed degrees in both Church Music and Christian Worship, and is currently in the process of finishing her Masters of Divinity at Wesley Seminary.
A self professed nerd, Dominique loves anything DC/Marvel, Sci-Fi, or history related. Though she prefers Hockey, particularly the Montreal Canadiens, to Football, she is most certainly a Packers fan! Dominique also enjoys experiencing new places, cultures, and traditions, having traveled to several countries such as: France, Zambia, South Africa, Caribbean, and soon the UK.
